RTP and Volatility Explained
Two numbers describe almost every slot: RTP and volatility. They measure different things, and understanding both helps you choose a game that matches how you like to play.
What RTP means
Return to Player (RTP) is the long-run percentage a game pays back across millions of spins. A 96.5% RTP means that, statistically over the very long term, €96.50 is returned per €100 wagered — it is never a promise for a single session.
What volatility means
Volatility (or variance) describes how wins are distributed. Low-volatility slots pay small amounts often; high-volatility slots pay rarely but can pay big. Two games can share the same RTP yet feel completely different.
Using both to choose
