How We Rate: Standout, Solid & Classic
Every curated game on this site carries an Editor’s Verdict with one of three bands: Standout, Solid or Classic. The band is a plain-language shorthand for where a game sits in its category, based only on its verified characteristics — never on real-money outcomes. Here is exactly what each label means and how we assign it.
Standout
A genre standout is a definitive headliner: a title whose mechanic, feature depth and top-win potential set the benchmark others are measured against. These are the games we suggest learning first if you want to understand what Pragmatic Play does best. A Standout badge is about influence and completeness of design, not a prediction that you will win.
Solid
A solid all-rounder does its job well without reinventing the category. Expect a dependable feature set, a clear bonus round and balanced pacing. Solid titles are strong everyday picks — a little less iconic than a Standout, but reliable, well-built and easy to enjoy in the free demo.
Classic

How we decide
Bands are drawn only from verified facts already published on each game page — its core mechanic, volatility profile, maximum-win tier and feature set. We do not invent specs, and where a figure is unknown we leave it out rather than guess. A handful of niche titles are marked “Specialist” when they suit a very particular taste.
